TRUE SUCCESS

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." Joshua 1:8

Do you want to succeed in life? Most people do. Most people long to see their efforts bear fruit, whether in academics, sports, business, marriage, family, or the Christian life.
Did you know there is a secret success? The secret is rather simple. God says true success comes to the one who meditates on His Word...and obeys it. As we have learned this week, God's Word is alive and powerful. It has the power to change us from the inside out. As we spend time reading God's Word, we start to see life His perspective. We start to walk by faith, not by sight. We start to believe Him for big things because we read that He is a big God who delights in doing the impossible.
Maybe you have been struggling with your future. Maybe you have been sensing God wants you to make a major change in your life, but you are too afraid of failing. Fear not! Just keep meditating on God's Word and obeying what He commands. He is faithful to those who are faithful to Him.  (Joshua 1:8) is not just God's promise to Joshua. It is God's promise to you too.

Prayer :

Dear God, help me to meditate on Your Word and then to do what it says! I want Your Word to change the way I think, act, react. I thank You that You promise true success for those who obey You. I choose obedience!
