He was rejected by his family, sold into slavery, lied about, mistreated, abandoned, falsely accused of a crime and thrown in prison. But through it all, Joseph never gave up. He kept pressing through and doing the right thing even though the wrong thing kept happening. Psalm 105:18 tells us that as Joseph lay in prison in those chains of iron, his soul entered into that iron. In that prison, Joseph developed supernatural strength, a perseverance that no one cou...

PRESS TOWARD THE PROMISE

Image
Morning Tea, Friday, August 22, 2025 *Press Toward the Promise* *Today's Scripture:* …imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. - Hebrews 6:12, ESV *Today's Word* When we're waiting for God's promises to manifest in our lives, it's essential to stay focused on faith and patience. The enemy often intensifies his attacks when he knows we're close to a breakthrough. However, we can draw inspiration from biblical examples like Abraham, who trusted God's promises despite seemingly impossible circumstances. *The Power of Faith and Patience* - *Faith*: Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. It's the assurance that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He promises. - *Patience*: Patience is the ability to endure difficult circumstances without giving up. It's the key to unlocking God's promises in our lives. *Pressing Toward the Promise* - *Don't give up*: When we're close to a breakthrough...

He will place me out of reach on a high rock... _*(Psalm 27:5, NLT)*_ _*Psalm 27:5 KJV*_ For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. *𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬'𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗*🍞 David had all kinds of things come against him - people, armies, even his own family. He had many reasons to live worried, upset, and bitter. But he said, “The *LORD* is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? Why should I be afraid?” David lived with this attitude, “GOD’s got this. I’m not going to worry or live in fear. He will hide me when trouble comes. He will place me out of reach.” You may have discouraging situations and difficulties coming against you, but GOD has placed you out of re...

People have gone through heartache. They’ve been pushed down by life. When we think of healing for them, we may think of praying for them, but we need to realize that our words have healing power, like life-giving water. When you’re kind, when you’re encouraging, when you don’t just think something good but you take time to verbalize it, you’re being a healer. We don’t realize the power of one kind word, the power of a simple compliment, the power of “I believe in you. You’re going to make it. Great things are in store.” Your words may seem ordinary to yo...

They can be a source of life or death. As believers, we're called to use our words to uplift and encourage others, reflecting God's love and care. When we speak with kindness, empathy, and compassion, we create an environment of love and connection. *The Impact of Kind Words* - *Healing*: Kind words can bring healing to those who are hurting, providing comfort and peace in times of need. - *Encouragement*: Encouraging words can inspire others to keep moving forward, even when faced with challenges and obstacles. - *Hope*: Words of hope can provide a sense of direction and purpose, helping others to stay focused on their goals and dreams. *A Prayer for Today* Father, thank You for the gift of speech and the power of words. Morning Tea, Thursday, August 7, 2025 *Grace for Today* *Today's Scripture:* So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. - Matthew 6:34, NLT *Today's Word* Have you ever found yourself consumed by worries about the future? Perhaps you've been trying to solve problems that haven’t even happened yet. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:34 to not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have enough worries of its own. This powerful verse encourages us to live in the present and trust God's sovereignty over our lives. When we focus on the what-ifs, we can become overwhelmed and anxious. However, God's Word assures us that He provides us with exactly what we need for every season. Just as He clothes the lilies of the fields, He will take care of us. By resting in God's promises and trusting in His goodness, we can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding. *Reflection Questions* - What worries ar...

When You Run Out of Strength *Today's Scripture:* The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” - 1 Kings 19:7, NIV *Today's Word* Have you ever felt like Elijah, running on empty and drained of strength? Perhaps you've been doing the right thing, praying and believing, but lost your drive and passion. You may not have given up on life, but you've given up on your dreams. Here's the good news: God doesn't condemn or disqualify us when we're tired. He doesn't write us off when we're weak. Instead, He's full of mercy and generosity, eager to bless us and empower us to become all He's created us to be. Just like the angel of the Lord came to Elijah a second time to strengthen him, God is coming to you with renewed strength and power. He's going to cause blessings to chase you down and push you into the fullness of your destiny. Don't give up; God is about to...

*Morning Tea* ☕ _MONDAY August 4  2025_ 📆 *Get the Right Image* ⚓️ *Today's Scripture* 📖 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask GOD, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. _(James 1:5, NIV)_ *Today's Word* 🍞 Do you think God is keeping a record of all your faults, waiting for you to slip up so He can withhold His goodness? No, that's not the God of the Bible. He's not a faultfinder, accuser, or perfectionist waiting for you to get everything right before He showers you with love and favor. Instead, He's full of mercy and generosity, eager to bless you and empower you to become all He created you to be. When you ask God for wisdom, He's not looking at your past mistakes or shortcomings. He's looking at your heart and His goodness. He's ready to give you the guidance and direction you need to navigate life's challenges and make wise decisions. *The Power of God's Mercy* God's mercy is a powerful f...

EMBRACING GOD GRACE

Image
*Morning Tea* ☕ _Saturday, August 2, 2025_ 📆 *Embracing God's Grace* ⚓️ *Today's Scripture* 📖 So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. _(Matthew 6:34, NLT)_ *Today's Word* 🍞 Are you trying to solve problems that haven’t happened? “What if I get laid off? What if this pain in my side is something serious?” _JESUS_ said to not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have enough worries of its own. GOD gives you the grace for today. You don’t have grace for tomorrow. Don’t try to figure out the next five years, playing all the what-ifs. The what-ifs will make you depressed. The good news is that even if a what-if happens, GOD will give you the grace to handle it. *The Power of Living in the Present* When we focus on the present moment, we can experience God's peace and provision in a deeper way. We don't have to be controlled by worries about the future or regrets about the past. By trusting in God...
