*Grace for Today*
*Today's Scripture:*
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. - Matthew 6:34, NLT
*Today's Word*
Have you ever found yourself consumed by worries about the future? Perhaps you've been trying to solve problems that haven’t even happened yet. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:34 to not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have enough worries of its own. This powerful verse encourages us to live in the present and trust God's sovereignty over our lives.
When we focus on the what-ifs, we can become overwhelmed and anxious. However, God's Word assures us that He provides us with exactly what we need for every season. Just as He clothes the lilies of the fields, He will take care of us. By resting in God's promises and trusting in His goodness, we can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.
*Reflection Questions*
- What worries are you carrying about the future that you need to release to God?
- How can you trust God's provision and care for you in the present moment?
- What steps can you take to focus on the present and let go of anxiety about tomorrow?
*A Prayer for Today*
Father, thank You that just as You clothe the lilies of the fields, You will provide me with exactly what I need for every season I am in. I choose to rest, knowing that You are in control. I declare I will not worry because You supply all my needs. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
