*A Time of Testing*

*Today's Scripture:*
Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph’s character. - Psalm 105:19, NLT

*Today's Word*

When God gives us a dream, it's exciting to think about the possibilities. But often, between the promise and the fulfillment, there's a season of testing. This is where our character is refined, and our faith is strengthened. Joseph's story is a great example of this. After receiving a dream from God, he faced thirteen years of challenges, including betrayal and imprisonment. But he remained faithful, and eventually, his dream came to pass.

*The Purpose of Testing*

- *Refining character*: Testing helps us develop the character needed to fulfill our dreams.
- *Building faith*: Testing strengthens our faith and trust in God's goodness and sovereignty.
- *Preparing for fulfillment*: Testing prepares us for the fulfillment of our dreams, helping us to appreciate the journey.

*How to Pass the Test*

- *Trust God*: Trust that God is working everything out for your good, even when you can't see the outcome.
- *Stay faithful*: Remain faithful to God, even in the midst of challenges and uncertainty.
- *Maintain a good attitude*: Keep a positive attitude, knowing that God is refining your character.

*The Reward of Passing the Test*

- *Fulfillment of dreams*: When we pass the test, our dreams are fulfilled, and we experience God's best for our lives.
- *Spiritual growth*: Passing the test leads to spiritual growth, helping us become more like Christ.
- *Increased faith*: Passing the test increases our faith, helping us trust God more deeply.

*A Prayer for Today*

Father, thank You for loving me so much that You work to refine my character and bring me up higher. Thank You for the training and preparation process that You are taking me through even now. I believe that I will pass the tests and get to where You are taking me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
