All-Knowing

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowing of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! "For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?" Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him?" For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
-Romans 11:33-36

In 2004, Jeopardy contestant Ken Jennings went on the longest win streak in the history of the iconic American game show. Jennings won seventy four games in a row, garnering the attention of the American public. During his win streak, Jennings seemed to have an answer for any question asked.
Viewers as well as competitors were mystified and awed by his vast range of knowledge.
Jennings win streak and breadth of his knowledge amazed people, but that wide-ranging knowledge shrinks in comparison to the mind of God.
While the world was understandably impressed by what Jennings accomplished, all of us who have been delivered by Christ should be far more impressed by what God  has accomplished through Jesus on our behalf. We should respond in ecstatic worship of God, thanking Him for His grace.
In Romans 11:33-36, we find a beautiful passage, praising God for His eternal and gracious plan to deliver both Jews and Gentiles from the consequences of their sins. Paul praised God for His plan to deliver all of humanity from bondage to sin and death. Of all of the accomplishments in history, God's deliverance of human beings from their sinful natures and the consequences of their sins stands as the ultimate peace prize.

Prayer : Father, may I never stop praising You for Your goodness and grace. Amen.
