BE ASSURED AND BE COMMITTED

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Psalms 37:5-7


Our world is in turmoil. We can point to many places, politics, and issues, but none of this turmoil would be happening without mankind's sins.
According to the Bible, all people are born in sin. Because God is holy and righteous, sinful man is totally separated and without hope in this lost this and dying world. Without trusting Christ as Savior and Lord, we have no biblically grounded compass.
David clearly recognized this sin problem. He saw sins in his own life, and he bore witness to sin in the lives of people around him. Furthermore, David didn't miss the fact that many of the wicked prospered despite their sinfulness.
In this psalms, David reminded u that a life committed to God is a trusting life. When we trust God in all our ways, He enables us to accept even those things that are difficult to understand. And He assures us that He is in control.

Prayer :

Dear God, I commit my life to You, trusting in Your goodness and resting in Your sovereignty.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
