CONFIDENCE IN THE INFINITE

Now may the manifold wisdom of God...be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which God accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
Ephesians 3:10-12


It's not easy for a finite human mind to grasp much of our God's infinite wisdom and knowledge. Consider the magnitude and scope of God's redemptive work on our behalf, in our hearts, and through His church. We naturally reduce to our small and simplistic thinking miracle of rebirth and new spiritual life that Christ accomplished and to make it worse, we conclude it was just about us.
We have that egocentric way interpreting everything because, by nature, we're self centered. However, we see here that God revealed to the powers of His master plan of redemption. God did not keep it a secret that He sent Jesus to atone for our sins and to buy back fallen humanity. The salvation story was developed according to God's wisdom and overseen by His divine orchestration.
Therefore, you and I can be bold when we approach the holy and almighty One. We can also be confident in the power and love of this enormous God who sent His Son to rescue us from the clutches and dominion of sin. Jesus death and resurrection bring Him glory throughout all time, around the world, and in the details of your sold out for Him life.

Prayer :

Father, You are a big God. Help me both to please You with my big confidence in You and glorify You by my obedience.
