UNPARDONED SIN

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. Luke 12:10-12

As a pastor I am asked occasionally, "What is the unpardonable sin"? Most people assume it is a sin like suicide. Suicide is not the unpardonable sin. Jesus Himself answered this question: blasphemy "against the Holy Spirit...will not be forgiven."
Perhaps more relevant on a broader scope is the fact that all sin is unacceptable to God. In other words, any one sin can damn a person to tell. God must forgive all of our sins, or we all are doomed.
But don't panic. Each one of us will die one day with multitudes of sins of which we have not repented or we even remember committing. We need and we have a Savior to cover our sins, even those we haven't confessed.
When people have not been born again when they have not put their faith and trust in Christ the Spirit of God convicts them of their sin when they hear the gospel. If those individuals refuse the Spirit's invitation to receive Christ as their Savior, they are choosing spiritual death. Their sins will remain unforgiven; they will not receive God's forgiveness.
It's a compelling and chilling truth: once we die, we have no more chances to make things right with God. With whom will you share the gospel?

Prayer :

Lord, thank You for forgiving all my sins. Give me boldness to share my faith with others.
