JESUS IS OUR WISDOM

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."... But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1 Corinthians 1:18-19;24-25

Our secular society has downgraded the significance of the cross. Believers wear the cross because of our love for Jesus and because of our desire to be His ambassadors and witnesses. However, many nonbelievers wear cross necklaces as simply a piece of jewelry. Others whose lifestyles reflect nothing of Jesus values may have tattoos, and these people make the cross "no effect"
(1 Corinthians 1:17).
The message of the cross is foolishness to a world that is rebellious and blinded by the deceptions of Satan. However, those individuals who have truly heard the message of the cross and responded to its truth have been changed by its power!
If we are willing to allow God to take charge of our lives, transformation happens. If we are willing to change what needs to be changed, we will emerge closer to Christ, more mature as His children, and reflect the love of God to the world around us.

Prayer :

Lord, You have sent me to preach the message of the cross. It may be foolishness to a lost world, but I know it has the power to change lives. Enable me to be faithful with it's message.
