SHARING THE BLESSING

For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after Abraham had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:13-15

God's promise changed and blessed Abraham's life; it's fulfillment also eventually change and the bless the world. God promised Abraham a son. We now understand that in the line of Abraham would come a Son who would ultimately bless the world and who was Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
We also know that God sent His Son into the world to bless the world because He loves the world. God blessed our world by sending His Son Jesus so that on the cross, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin  for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
(2 Corinthians 5:21).
On the cross in some cosmic way beyond our imagining, He bore our sins in His body so we could be brought into relationship with God. God poured out His wrath on His Son on the cross so that Jesus might atone for the wages of sins that we may enjoy the gift of life given through grace.
The gospel...what a blessing! It is a blessing shared by every Christian follower. Enjoyment of this blessing involves sharing the gospel message with others as often as possible so those far from God can experience this blessing as well.

Prayer :

Father, thank You for sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins. Give me an opportunity today to share this gospel message with someone who is far from You.

Amen
