UNSEEN BLESSING

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Ephesians 1:3-4

Some of the best blessings in our lives are the ones we can see and place our hands on, Of course, I'm speaking about things such as our spouses, children, food, water, shelter, technology, and so forth. Recognizing these as blessings helps us remain grateful to God for them.
The greatest blessings in our lives as Christ followers, however, are probably the ones we can't see or touch. Paul referred to these as "spiritual blessings," those blessings we receive in and through Christ. Paul mentioned many spiritual blessings in his letter to the Christians living in Ephesus.
Consider some of the blessings Paul pointed out. God has chosen us to be His. God has loved us, forgiven us, redeemed us, and adopted us. We have received and continue to receive God's grace, and we have received God's Holy Spirit as well.
Without these unseen blessings received from and because of Christ, nothing else in life really matters. As we noticed yesterday, it is absolutely possible to be blessed but not feel blessed and, consequently, not enjoy the blessings. Let us never allow that to be the case with our spiritual blessings.
Think about it for a moment: you have been chosen by God, loved, forgiven, redeemed, and adopted by your heavenly Father. Do not live unaware and unaffected by your unseen blessings.

Prayer :

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the spiritual blessings that are mine because of Jesus.
