VISIBLE WORSHIP

By Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16

Look again at the passage above and follow it's logic. Because of Jesus sacrifice for us sinners, we experience God's great love. In response to His sacrifice, we are to praise God and share with others.
In light of what Jesus sacrifice means to us forgiveness, adoption in God's family, abundant life, eternal life how could we do anything but live a life of constant gratitude to Him? The primary way to show our gratitude is to praise Him, and praise is simply bragging about what we love or enjoy. We recommend restaurants after a great meal, and we wear our favorite NFL player's jersey on game day. Praise is a natural thing to do when we love someone or something. May it truly become second nature to praise Jesus once we have experienced His mercy.
But Jesus sacrifice also calls for us to demonstrate that our treasure is in heaven. Because we have experienced mercy, we then extend mercy to the Bible's vulnerable quartet: the widows, the fatherless, the immigrants and the poor (Zechariah 7:10-11). People who truly experience mercy cannot help but extend mercy to others.
When you offer sacrifices of praise and service, God is pleased with you.

Prayer :

Father, in gratitude for Your grace, forgiveness, and love, I offer You both the song of my heart and the actions of my hands. Amen.
