YIELDED TO THE ALMIGHTY

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

Hear the buoyant confidence of Paul's words as he praised God for His omnipotence. I remember the question posed to Abraham: "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14), and I can confidently say no. Nothing is too hard for God.
We should look back over your life for evidence of that truth. Describe the most recent time the Lord came through for you. Review in your mind when He did what seemed impossible and took down a giant. The Lord provides for us in ways that are above and beyond our needs and what a great source of encouragement and strength. Another way to look at this passage is to think of God Himself as more than we can imagine, more wonderful than we could ever conceive!
Notice, too, that God's power "works in us." He will do for us and through us to the degree we let Him in us. To what degree will we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit? Know that we limit God's working to the degree we are not yielded to Him.
So right now yield yourself to Him. Then watch His promise become His provision in you and for you in far greater ways than you can ask or imagine.

Prayer :

Lord, You are a mighty God, and it's joy to serve You. In Christ's name, Amen.
