So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, it is well with thee? is it well with thy husband? it is well with the child? And she answered, it is well. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went u, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said Take up thy son. Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out. 2 Kings 4:25-26, 35-37
Words are not ordinary. They either carry a negative charge or a positive charge. Words from the mouth of a child of God must be inspired by the Spirit of God and the word of God. Believers are not ordinary but peculiar people and their words must show this. The Shuammite woman refused to confess negative over her life concerning her son's condition. When the servant of the prophet of God asked her if all was well, she affirmed the word of God that says, "Say ye to the righteous that it shalt be well with him and she said, "it is well" (vs 26).
Her word framed her world; at the end, according to her confession, it is was well with her. The world really has no good for us until we subject the world to authority of God's word. Irrespective of our feelings, challenges and past, insist on what God's word says and your world will align with your confession. To ensure we get the best out of today's study, we must confess the word at all times, pray the word ceaselessly, meditate on the word and fill our words with God's word.
Your words must consistently line up your faith and expectation in order for your entire world to be framed up in your favor. We cannot keep uttering negative words and expect a better word and expect a better world. Declare God's word over your health, relationships, family, nation and you will be amazed at the wonderful transformation that will take place.
