LIFE IS AN OPEN DOOR

See, I have set before you am open door, and no one can shut it. Revelation 3:8

There are people who complain that life is empty and meaningless. For them life is one dreary hour after the next, one uninteresting day after the other, and time drags by while they lead a useless existence. It doesn’t take them long to wilt intellectually and to develop a negative, narrow-minded attitude towards life.
It is totally unnecessary for such a situation to develop in your life because Jesus Christ has given to you the promise of an abundant life and the opportunity to experience it to the full (John 10:10). Scripture, history and your personal experience offer ample testimony to this fact. It testifies that an ordinary, dull life is transformed by the power of the living Christ and through His Holy Spirit.
Through the wonder of God’s grace, sadness is transformed into joy, defeat into victory; fear disappears; hate changes into love and despair into hope even death becomes life. The moment you accept Christ into your life as Redeemer and Savior, everything in life gets new meaning and purpose. You enter through the door of redemption into a new world. Paul says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
This new life of abundance which Christ offers you, is yours for the taking. If you only exist, without really living, turn to Christ and He will open the door for you to a new, meaningful life.

Prayer :

Lord Jesus, thank You that the open door of Your grace leads me into a world where old things pass away.
