NOT NOW...LATER!

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7

Sometimes confusing things happen in life and we find them so hard to believe that we want to blame God in our ignorance and confusion.
From the cradle to the grave, we are engaged in a struggle. 
However, what often worsens the situation is the fact that we sometimes do not understand what is happening to us at all. This is what happened to Peter.
Peter could not and did not want to understand: “No, You shall never wash my feet.” (John 13:8).
He had to realize that he had to share in the cleansing grace of the Redeemer, Jesus Christ. He also had to learn the lesson of absolute humility. It was necessary to prepare him for the great task that he had to perform. 
God can make every misfortune and puzzling situation in your life work out for your benefit. Paul states it strikingly, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:11). 
Perhaps something occurred in your life that left you bewildered. The Master has something to tell you, “If you do not understand now, believe and trust to the end. Do not fear, only believe. Later you will understand everything.” 

Prayer :

Your ways are so different from our ways, Lord Jesus. I do not always understand You, but I want to follow You in faith and truth.
