In The Potters House

_Morning Tea_ ☕ *In the Potter’s Hands*
📖 Today’s Scripture
*Isaiah 45:9 (NLT)* – _What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, “Stop, you’re doing it wrong!”_

*Isaiah 45:9 (KJV)* – _Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?_
🍞 Today’s Word
God is the *Potter*; we are the *clay*.
On His wheel, the lump spins, stretches, and is pressed. Often the clay feels the motion as fatigue—_“I’m tired of going round, let me off!”_—but that very spin is where transformation happens.

What the Spin Means
- *Circles of routine* can feel pointless, yet they’re the furnace of character.
- *Pressure and heat* shape us into vessels of honor.
- *Progress is hidden*—the inside forms first, then the outward beauty emerges.

Trusting the Potter
When we stay soft and pliable, the Potter can raise us higher. Resistance creates cracks; surrender brings wholeness.

Practical Steps
1. *Worship instead of whine.* A song of praise keeps the heart soft.
2. *Be faithful in the small.* Consistency in daily duties builds lasting fruit.
3. *Listen for His gentle nudges.* Scripture, thoughts, or circumstances are His guiding hands.
🙏🏽 A Prayer for Today
_Heavenly Father, thank You for holding my life in Your skilled hands. You are the Potter, I am the clay. Help me trust You in every spin, every routine, every season of unseen progress. Shape my character, smooth my rough edges, and raise me up into the vessel You designed me to be. Grant me patience, gratitude, and a heart of worship, so that I never argue with Your perfect work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen._
❤️ Reflection Questions
- Where do I feel stuck in a “wheel‑spinning” season?
- How can I turn that frustration into an offering of worship?
- What tiny act of faithfulness can I do today to honor the Potter’s work in me?
Stay soft, stay steady, and let the Potter’s hands bring forth beauty. 🌿✨
