Prophetic Word: Take Care of Yourself
“Guard what I have entrusted to you,” says the Lord. “You have spent much of your life pouring into others, carrying burdens that were never yours to carry, strengthening those who were weak, and encouraging those who had lost hope. But now I am calling you to take care of yourself.
Do not mistake self-care for selfishness. Even My Son withdrew to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16). He rested, He communed with the Father, and He guarded His strength for His assignment. If the Savior understood the necessity of renewal, how much more do you?
I say to you today: Guard your spirit. Guard your mind. Guard your body. Guard your heart. The enemy does not always attack with obvious battles; sometimes he seeks to exhaust you until you have nothing left to give. But I have not called you to burn out—I have called you to burn with My fire.
Take care of your relationship with Me before you take care of your responsibilities. A neglected soul cannot produce lasting fruit. Drink deeply from My presence. Feed upon My Word. Let My peace restore what pressure has depleted.
There are those who have ignored warning signs—physical, emotional, and spiritual—but I am sounding the alarm in love. Slow down where I tell you to slow down. Rest where I tell you to rest. Listen when I speak. Obedience will preserve you.
As you care for the temple I have given you, I will renew your strength. I will restore your joy. I will sharpen your vision. You will not merely survive this season—you will flourish in it.
I am preserving you because your assignment is not finished. There are lives still waiting for your voice, generations still waiting for your wisdom, and victories still waiting for your obedience.
Take care of yourself, for I am taking care of you.
